Chat alerts with the app closed

New messages, invitations and calls in the built-in chat now alert you with the app or browser closed, with no extra chat app to install. An alert says who wrote and where, never what, and a «Chat» switch in your notification settings turns it off.

Voice messages in chat

Tap the microphone next to Send to record one. Other Matrix apps show it as a voice message, and in an encrypted chat it is encrypted like everything else.

Android notifications that arrive

With the app closed, the Android app was silently dropping every notification except the SOS alarm; now they all show up. Messages and calls have a channel of their own, so you can tune them in Android's settings.

Your calendars in webmail

The calendar page of your mailbox now shows your calendars, the ones shared with you and the «Parahub» calendar, with nothing to set up. It is for looking only, and it never tells other mailboxes when you are busy.

Your mailbox follows your name setting

Webmail's address book listed members under the name given at sign-up, for everyone with a mailbox to see. It now shows your handle unless you chose to show your name publicly.

Calendars without a new app

Keep calendars on Parahub and sync them with the calendar on your iPhone, Android phone or computer. Share one with family in full, or let someone see only when you are busy.

Events and bookings show up by themselves

Connect a device and a «Parahub» calendar appears with the events you are going to and your bookings, updated when plans change. Every published event also has an «Add to calendar» button, no account needed.

Bring your own bot

Verified members can run up to three bots of their own, such as an AI assistant on their own computer, with a chat account here. Everyone who meets one sees that it is a bot and whose it is, and a bot can never vote, sign or hold money.

Drone uploads that finish

Select a whole flight at once: it travels in parts sized to your connection, rides out dropouts and can be continued from the mission card. The mission list now shows every mission and can be narrowed by pilot or place.

Easier on a phone

Map panels now drag by their whole header, and a flick moves them one step. Profile, stop and wallet pages no longer spill off small screens.

Contracts the platform cannot read

Text you write in the contract editor is now encrypted in your browser for the parties and a named arbiter, so the platform stores only what it cannot open. Agreements that need no secrecy can be marked open instead, a choice both of you sign.

A chat that vouches for itself

Each new chat session confirms itself with a key made from your 12 words, so encrypted messages keep flowing when Matrix apps stop talking to unconfirmed sessions in late October. Using another app? The same key is in your profile's security settings.

Your @parahub.io mailbox is back

Accounts created since late July did not get the mailbox the sign-up page promises. They have one now, and every new account gets it again.

Take back a debt written the wrong way round

If you wrote down a debt you owe and the other person has not answered yet, you can now withdraw it, and they can decline it. Before, the button only appeared on debts still waiting for confirmation.

Transit pages that tell the truth

A route or stop that its network has dropped now shows a clear 'not found' page instead of an empty one. King County's routes and several Lisbon-area timetables are updating again after being stuck on old copies.

Going that way anyway?

Tell the app where you are driving from and to, and it lists the passengers waiting at stops and the parcels waiting at hubs along your way. Offer to carry either right from the list.

Draw your plot and sign where it lies

A boundary editor on aerial imagery: place corners by hand or from where you stand, check the area against your documents, export KML or Shapefile. Then sign a timestamped declaration of that boundary, which neighbours can confirm with their own signature.

A location plan to scale, as a PDF

For a plot in Portugal, download the location plan a building application asks for: A4 sheets to scale with base map, aerial photo and the municipal plan's zoning and constraints extracts where loaded. A working document, not a replacement for the town hall's own sheets.

No more missed contracts

When someone sends you a contract to sign you get a notification and a push, and the menu shows on Contracts how many await your signature. The sale template now names the item's serial number, the payment and the moment ownership passes.

Arrival times you can trust further ahead

We fixed several flaws in how travel times between stops were recorded and read, so predictions are closer to reality, especially for buses 10 to 30 minutes away. Live times for Lisbon-area buses are back after the operator renumbered its routes and stops.
